Two ways to become part of the FA Jets fleet — co-invest in an aircraft, or commercially operate your own aircraft under an Air Operator Certificate.

At FA Jets, you can enter business aviation in two ways. As an investor you can participate in an aircraft such as the Pilatus PC-12 or Cessna Citation CJ series receiving annual flight hours proportional to your investment, priority access to suitable empty legs, and a share of the residual value upon sale. If you already own an aircraft, FA Jets can operate it commercially under an Air Operator Certificate (AOC). You determine the availability, we manage marketing, sales, scheduling, compliance, and maintenance oversight, and every chartered hour lowers your ownership costs.

Two ways to participate

Whether you want to deploy capital into a shared aircraft or if you own an aircraft that spends too much time on the ground between your own flights, FA Jets provides a structure tailored to your situation.

Why owners choose a commercial operation

An aircraft incurs real fixed costs: hangarage, maintenance, crew, insurance, regardless of whether it is flying. A marketing agreement with FA Jets, operating under an AOC, turns those idle hours into revenue.

✓
Reduce your fixed costs. Every chartered hour lowers your ownership costs, without relinquishing control of the aircraft.
✓
Maintained to commercial standards. Maintenance and operations adhere to Part-CAMO standards on every flight, protecting residual value.
✓
You retain control. You determine availability. Your aircraft, your rules.
✓
Zero administrative burden. Marketing & sales, crew, scheduling, compliance, and reporting are fully handled by FA Jets.
✓
Support for your private flights. Flight planning, permits, and ops support, even when you fly yourself.
✓
A reputable operation. Flying under an established AOC and brand rather than an informal arrangement, offering peace of mind to insurers, buyers, and yourself.
✓
Better fuel pricing. Under commercial operations, you are exempt from VAT and fuel duties applicable to private flights, savings that directly benefit your own flights.
✓
AOG coverage. If your aircraft is grounded, we manage the response, troubleshooting, parts sourcing, and getting the aircraft back airborne. So an AOG isn't your problem alone.
✓
Tax benefits, safely leveraged. Operating under an AOC grants access to tax treatments reserved for fully compliant commercial operations, eliminating the risks of informal or purely private structures.

Frequently asked questions

How much do I need to invest to participate in an aircraft?
Participation at FA Jets starts from €250,000. Terms are agreed upon in consultation and depend on the number of participants. Based on your participation, you receive included flight hours per year, access to lower rates for additional flights, priority on suitable empty legs, and a share of the remaining net value upon sale of the aircraft.
I already own an aircraft, can I operate it commercially?
Yes. Aircraft can be operated commercially under an Air Operator Certificate (AOC). You determine availability yourself; FA Jets handles marketing, sales, scheduling, crew, and compliance, strictly adhering to Part-CAMO & AOC standards.
What does it cost to fly my aircraft under your AOC?
For startup, an operational reserve of €160,000 is required, available at least 5 months prior to launching commercial operations, this covers the initial 6 months of operational expenses, including AOC enrollment, crew training and marketing on-boarding.
Will I still be able to fly my own aircraft?
Absolutely. You determine which dates and hours are available for charter and which are for your personal use. FA Jets also provides flight planning, permits, and operational support for your private flights, allowing you to benefit from the same favorable fuel pricing applicable to commercial operations.
What happens if my aircraft is grounded - Aircraft On Ground (AOG)?
FA Jets manages the AOG response end-to-end: troubleshooting, sourcing replacement parts, and getting the aircraft back airborne. This falls under our responsibility, not yours.
